Our bodies, psyche, mind and emotional processes are all connected. When one part is injured, it will affect the other aspects of the human being. PTSD is the effect of a traumatic injury that the mind has experienced. The mind inherently wants to heal, yet it must be guided by a professional to help reprocess the trauma memory or memories so they can be stored in the healthy part of our brain. Once the memory is reprocessed, slowly the emotional reactions will no longer be automatically stimulated, leaving you with a sense of inner control, where life can make sense, be logical and you can emotionally and mentally find solutions to life hardships. When we are victorious over struggles, we begin to live life from contentment, which offers the potential to thrive versus survive. By combining both techniques I am able to help you find your way to a healing process.
